North America's Freshest Heli-Skiing Scene!

Welcome to the freshest, hottest heli skiing experience, located right here in the U.S.A’s. own Selkirk Mountains! Yes, we’ve got a piece of the world famous Selkirks and their snow too!

Selkirk Powder Guides have pioneered mechanized backcountry skiing in the American Selkirk range for over 15 years, and heli skiing grew as a natural progression of that fun-filled pursuit. Our heli skiing service is the culmination of several years of careful preparation resulting in our inaugural season during the winter of 2016-’17. Now that the word is out and more and more skiers are discovering our simply amazing terrain and snow, you’ll be rewarded with lifetime memories and smiles you just won’t be able to suppress.

Heli skiing with us is an authentic backcountry experience, and it’s special. We don’t take multiple groups out on a given day, which is standard practice among many other heli ski operators. Just four skiers or riders are accompanied by two Selkirk Powder guides, allowing for a very personalized ski experience. Your tour will be truly distinctive on your ski day, ensuring the memories you earn with your turns are that much sweeter!

The terrain we heli ski in is varied, offering runs for the likes of pro athletes on to family cruisers. In order to maximize your fun and the safe movement for all, skiers and riders should at a minimum be high intermediates. We ski in an alpine environment on natural aspects, where snow and conditions are uncontrolled.

There’s really no vertical limit for this ultimate skiing experience; our guides will work with you to put together just the right tour. On a typical day you'll ski between 10-14,000 vertical feet, and we may remain out in the field for 4 or more hours!
